Cloud motifs are historically coming from China but started to be used in the 15th Century in Turkish Illumination.

During this course you will learn different type of cloud motifs such as free moving and separation clouds amongst others.  Alongside their historical background  we  will look at their design principles and how to use them with other biomorphic motifs like florals.
