This original piece of my own design is free hand drawn and painted. Design rules and painting techniques of tezhip applied. Tezhip is a traditional art form coming from 8th century.

Created using 22 carat gold and acrylics on paperboard.

The size of the painting is suitable for 40x50 cm frame. If you would like framed option, please contact via dm.

This symmetrical art type is called "Tezhip" illumination which means ornamenting with gold, hence gold is one of the main material used in my paintings.

The gold is burnished in a way as to give a beautiful shine which catches the light in different ways throughout the day illuminating the pattern almost giving it life.

Please note the colour may vary slightly due to the nature of photography.
