This original piece of my own design is free hand drawn and painted. The gold Halkar design reminds of the universe and black holes which are a region of spacetime exhibiting gravitational acceleration so strong that nothing can escape from it.
Created using 22 carat (genuine) gold and gouache on black paperboard.
The size of the painting is approx. 50x50 cm.
This symmetrical art type is called "Tezhip" illumination which means ornamenting with gold, hence gold is one of the main material used in my paintings.
The gold is burnished in a way as to give a beautiful shine which catches the light in different ways throughout the day illuminating the pattern almost giving it life.
Please note the colour may vary slightly due to the nature of photography.
