"Gold Leaves-Blue"
This original piece of my own design is free hand drawn and painted. It is painted in Halkar style which is a technique of painting in Tezhip (art of illumination).
Created using 22 carat (genuine) gold on plum colour paperboard.
The size of the painting is approx. 23x23 cm.
This symmetrical art type is called "Tezhip" illumination which means ornamenting with gold, hence gold is one of the main material used in my paintings.
The gold is burnished in a way as to give a beautiful shine which catches the light in different ways throughout the day illuminating the pattern almost giving it life.
Please note the colour may vary slightly due to the nature of photography.
