Peace
 
This original piece of my own design is free hand drawn and painted. It is in classical halkar style painted inside the symbol with hand prepared gold and the transfer gold used for peace symbol shape.
 
Created using 22 carat gold in illustration board.
 
The size of the painting is approx. 40x40 cm.
 
This symmetrical art type is called "Tezhip" illumination which means ornamenting with gold, hence gold is one of the main material used in my paintings.
The gold is burnished in a way as to give a beautiful shine which catches the light in different ways throughout the day illuminating the pattern almost giving it life.
