Tall Blue Vase Painting on handmade paper
 
This original piece is free hand drawn and painted. It is in classical tezhip style painted with hand prepared gold on handmade acid free  320gsm Khadi paper.
 
Created using 22 carat gold, watercolour and gouache on handmade paper.
 
The size of this painting is approx 21x29 cm and it comes unframed. 
 
This symmetrical art type is called "Tezhip" illumination which means ornamenting with gold, hence gold is one of the main material used in my paintings.
The gold is burnished in a way as to give a beautiful shine which catches the light in different ways throughout the day illuminating the pattern almost giving it life.
